Heart's Ponder

"True virtue has no limits, but goes on and on, and especially holy charity, which is the virtue of virtues, and which having a definite object, would become infinite if it could meet with a heart capable of infinity." -St. Francis de Sales

How beautiful is this quote? ...if it could meet with a heart capable of infinity!

What does this say to you?

This quote makes me think of the Sacred Heart of Jesus- His heart may be the only one capable of infinity- thankfully we have access to that Heart.
Thanks for sharing the quote.
Hugs & Blessings!

Hi Karinann! I love the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I have an icon print right inside my door. I think like you on this quote. Holy love could become infinite in us if we but allow God's will. Thanks for commenting. I've been writing the examiner articles and neglecting this blog. I don't want to, but there are only so many hours in a day. Hugs and many blessings to you too!

I have been drawn to St Francis de Sales lately. A lot of great quotes, including this one. It also makes me think of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Love has no limits with God.
Thanks!
